The European Athletics Championships Zurich 2014 will be a true highlight for athletics fans.

From 12 to 17 August 2014, 1400 athletes from 50 countries will be hunting for medals at Letzigrund Stadium. Spectators, TV viewers, and the entire city will be under the spell of our fascinating sport during six competition days.

It’s been a long time: 60 years after Bern 1954, Switzerland will be hosting European athletics championships again. The dimensions of the event are unique for the country. However, the promoters enjoy an impressive support from the Swiss athletics community, and they are on course just over one and a half years before the championships will get underway.
 

Tickets: Great demand, few seats!

Since last November, Zürich 2014 Friends have been able to order championship week packages. The demand for tickets is enormous. A couple of weeks after the start of the exclusive ticket pre-sale, almost 20 per cent of all tickets available in Switzerland (2400 week packages) were sold. The first blocks along the home straight are already fully booked. Make sure to order your tickets early. The number of seats available for purchase is very limited.
 

We have blocked a contingent of tickets in various sectors (approx. 25% of the seats available on the main tribune, and approx. a third of all seats) for international federations until the end of September 2013. Please note that the contingent on the main tribune includes less than 500 tickets. For the time being, only week packages are available. These packages contain 10 individual non-personalised and transferable tickets which include Swiss public transport fares for the journey to and from the stadium on the day of competition.
